Go to Settings. Connect the device to asu-visitor Select Connect if prompted. Select download. When prompted please follow the instructions to setup a required pin or password on your device.

Select Accept. After the application installs, Select Open. You are now connected to asu-secure. Click on the wifi icon in bottom corner and choose "asu-visitor.

You should see this wifi configuration page. Click on the button that says "Click to configure a connection to asu-secure wifi. When you see this pop-up click "Add to Chrome" then "Add extension". Once the extension is installed, a confirmation will appear on the origional tab and you can now sign in on the Shibboleth Authentication screen with your ASU credentials.

Once you enter your credentials and submit you will see a loading screen, it may take sometime for the certificate to be created. Click on this new tab in Chrome. This will take you to the certificate install screen, click on the "Choose File" button and click Downloads to open the downloads folder.

Choose the SecureW2. You will be returned to the installer page, It will not indicate that anything has chaged, but the certificate should now be installed. Click on the wifi icon in the bottom right again and choose "asu-secure" from the list.

You should now be connected to the "asu-secure" network. If a hacker managed to log into the admin side of your router, the hacker could change the settings including your Wi-Fi password. That would undo any other security steps you may be taking. Contact the manufacturer directly. Keep your router up to date. To make sure you hear about the latest version, register your router with the manufacturer, and sign up to get updates.

Some routers have features that can be convenient but weaken your network security. WPS lets you push a button on the router to connect a device to the internet instead of entering the network password. Lastly, UPnP lets your devices find each other on the network. These features may make it easier to, say, add devices to your network or let guests use your Wi-Fi — but they can make your network less secure.

Set up a guest network. Many routers let you set up a guest network with a different name and password. Log out as administrator. If a hacker got into your administrator account, they could easily get into your network and devices.
