I installed from scratch Norton Antivirus day trial on bit Windows 7. I opted for this instead of the more expensive and bloated Norton Wednesday, January 14, AM. If you have a working version of symantec corporaate working, you can install verison 11 on top of it and it will install without error, and everything will work properly with no more lockout errors.

Give it a shot, guarantee it will work for you. I installed Norton Internet Security on both my laptop and Desktop. I installed Windows 7 as a clean install on the laptop. I have had no issues with Norton. Windows 7 was installed as an upgrade on the desktop. I have had to reinstall it at least twice in order to get it to work properly.
